Resort ViewNorth and east views from Flaine Foret. This side of the bowl often has better snow during spring conditions. The Aup De Veran gondola gives visitors the opportunity to ski some great intermediate runs including, Mephisto, Calcite and Lapiaz.Flaine Forum, seen 100m below, can be accessed on foot via one of the two funicular lifts. Piste ViewThe Flaine top station at Les Grandes Platieres (2480m) has some great 360 degree views and Mont Blanc and Chamonix top station can be seen. The black piste Diamant Noir comes straight down from this point. Although not the highest resort in the French Alps, at 1600m, the combination of a natural bowl located northwest of Mont Blanc gives Flaine one of the best snow records in France.
