Flaine Accommodation

The accommodation in Flaine has been designed to be convenient for the slopes, therefore virtually all hotels and residences are "ski to door". Foret is linked to Forum via two funicular lifts and the entire resort has been planned with ease of access in mind so that all amenities are close by. As an alternative to staying in Flaine, the Grand Massif provides further choices for accommodation amongst the well linked villages of the domain.

Flaine Forum

Flaine has an established reputation as a family friendly resort and this is underlined by the selection of club hotels found in the centre of Flaine Forum. Hotel Le Totem, Hotel Club MMV Le Flaine Neilson

and Hotel Village Club du Soleil Flaine Neilson

are all run on a full board basis and include kids clubs for all age ranges. Their location in the centre of Flaine Forum means that both the lifts and ski school meeting places are just metres away.

Flaine Foret

In this part of the resort, accommodation is orientated more towards self catering apartments and although many date to the 70s there are a number of new residences such as the Terasses de Véret and Les Pleiades Apartments Neilson

(2007).


		Others have undergone complete refurbishment such as the Residence La Foret. For those on a budget, the original Flaine apartments located in Foret and across the resort make a basic 2 star choice.

Flaine Montsoleil

The village of Montsoleil is the newest addition to Flaine with the first phase open since 2008. The 5 star Les Terrasses d'Eos consists of 145 apartments split over 2 buildings and provides ski-to-door accommodation plus easy access to the Grand Massif domain. Flaine Foret is five minutes away on foot.

Les Carroz

This traditional village, centred on a square, is full of character and contains a good choice of bars and restaurants. There is some high quality self-catering accommodation including Les Fermes du Soleil and Les Chalets de Jouvence. The former is sited in the centre with a shuttle bus connection to the lifts whilst the latter is a 5 minute walk to the centre and a 1 minute walk to the Kedeuze gondola.

Samoens

Samoens is another traditional village that has managed to avoid the worst effects of tourist development. Whilst this may be due to its low altitude of just 700 m, the Grand Massif Express gondola provides an excellent connection to the rest of the domain allowing for maximum time on the slopes. The 4 star Reine des Pres Apartments are located just 50 m from this lift and a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Samoens centre.
